No one could have predicted that Susan Clark would become a "radio personality". She grew up painfully shy, went through school mostly invisible, and fell into radio almost by accident nearly a dozen years ago. After making nearly every mistake possible during her first year as a part-time weekend DJ, she has achieved the pinnacle of her career, proudly wearing the "Queen of Dial-a-Deal" crown, following the Morning Update and "Coffee Break" on KBLL 1240 AM. She then moves to the computer to write commercials, and follows that with an afternoon DJ shift on KBLL 99.5 FM. In her other life, Susan shares her house with a few pets, a collection of vintage clothing, and a growing library.
Susan is also gaining fame as a local artist (click here to check out the Susan Clark Art Gallery). Those who have attended the last several Art Walks in Downtown Helena have seen her paintings at several sites. Many of her works are in private collections around the Helena area, and some have been on display at the Holter Museum of Art. |

Curtis has been with Beartooth NBC since October of 2003. He briefly left Montana in the fall of 2005 to take another weather job closer to family in the East. However, in November he returned to Helena and the place he calls home. Curtis says he fell in love with Montana immediately when he initially moved here. The wacky and extreme weather, warm people, wide open sky, and outdoor activities are what he enjoys most.
Curtis has been very active in the community, volunteering for the Humane Society, Florence Crittenden Home, East Helena Education Foundation, and the Farm in the Dell. Curtis even lived on the roof of Beartooth NBC to raise money for a Kyrgyzstan Farm in the Dell. Curtis received a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology from Lyndon State College in Vermont in 2003.
Erin Yost joined the Beartooth NBC team in October 2007 after graduating from the University of Montana. Being a Minnesota native, Erin loves snow - but had nowhere to ski! So, while visiting a friend in Missoula, she decided Montana would be the next place she'd call home!
In Missoula, she majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Communications. Erin earned two Regional Student Emmys for her contribution to her school's Montana PBS newspiece (Business: Made In Montana) and college news program (UM News). While attending college, Erin worked at the NBC affiliate KECI-13. Waking up at an extremely early hour (3 AM), Erin assistant produced and reported for Western Montana's number one rated morning show, Montana Today.
Erin loves to ski and anything to do with winter. She also likes to play with her pups, Knut and Bear, and trying to keep her cat, Mesa, out of the middle of them!
